The Day the Music Died

 

 A phrase from The Mourning Bride comes to mind this morning. For those of you that don’t know that is a play written by William Congreve in 1697. “Music had Charms to soothe a savage breast. To soften Rocks, or bend knotted Oak.” loosely translated it means that Music can make things better. I love music. Not just one kind of music I love like really all kinds. If you have ever looked at the end of all my blogs there is always some sort of song there. I either played while writing or listen to while working. Or just thought of while I was doing it.

Now the other day I was not in a good place. In fact, I know we all get there from time to time. You stress over stuff. You want to fix things, but you can’t. You can’t seem to talk to anyone without wanting to like punch them in the face. Or making them super mad at you. Yes, I have those days as well. Yesterday Morning I made a choice to get out of that darkness. Climbed out of bed in the morning and started to clean the house. Not long into that. Maybe 10 Mins I realized what I needed. Cranked up the music and went on my way. After a few songs I started to feel more like me.

Now I am not going to get into much here. But I will say that the right music at the right moment can bring your life into prospective. You will see that whatever was standing in the way of your happiness is merely a thing that you should get past, get over or, get out of. I hope really you can all find that song. That One song at the moment you need it most whenever that time arises. For now enjoy and See You Next Time,
